Glenn and Frances have a ride on the big dipper with Dave Lowry and Dick H, (Mad Dog)

R55A-2Glenn @ Luna Park Think these were scanned for Glenn years ago. I had just got my new Pentax SV from Dave for £55 and insured it for £85 with the GIO, (05-04-65) after he returned from NZ, 9:50pm, before the mapping of the Eucla Basin with the GSWA. I worked with him as his first Nullarbor field assistant after resigning from the MWS&DB not long after this shot, and headed off in the Beetle across the Nullarbor to explore Mullamullang with John Dunkley and Dick Heffernan (Mad Dog) Had a drunken re-union at Blue Gum Forest with the KBC 03-04-65 See many shots of slides and prints still to scan. There are a few loaded here. We all grew beards after this, except Frances, and went on to much travelling. Dave stayed in WA for years, and married his field assistant, then ended up just out of Brisbane, and Dick now lives a couple of 100m from us! Frances is still part of the core of the ACE Mob. on the 20th June 1965 the shutter blind on the Pentax SV tore and failed, so I shared cameras with Dave so switched from B&W to Dave's slides..
