They were talking about a hotpant craft night happening a bit later. They were going to make el-wire hotpants, and were discussing the best kind to use. I noticed this on my arrival - there's a kind of trend in Vancouver right now for women to be dressed for necessary warmth up top, and to be wearing like one inch of fabric below the belt. I completely approve.
