Prospect Harbor Lighthouse In A Dilapidated And Abandoned State
Prospect Harbor, Gouldsboro, Maine The caretaker's cottage caught fire on 2022-06-27. USN, who retains responsibility for the lighthouse despite it being on a Space Force base, completed sufficient repairs to close it in, but it has remained uncared for since. I have no explanation for what they have let the lighthouse reach such a sorry state.
