B2R33-32 #WAG9623 heads up the escarpment to Cocklebiddy 29-12-65
We got up here OK in the Beetle, the sand ahead got us stuck a couple of times according to my diary, but Mary pushed me out.. then pumped up the tyres, with hand pump, and continued north to Cocklebddy, got petrol and grease and on to Murra-el-Elevyn Cave. I changed the oil of the Land Rover, greased it and the VW.. cleaned the air filter. We then went down the cave in our shorts to the bat chamber. We left here and drove to Cocklebiddy Cave, "good thrash, VW going well, 40pph along tracks." Took photos . It was a long day.. see diary for the day..
