Diavolezza panorama

Piz Palü (left, 3901 m) and Piz Bernina (middle right, 4049 m), seen from the Diavolezza viewpoint at almost 3,000 metres above sea level. Located near Bernina Pass, Engadin, Switzerland. I have been up here many times over the last decades. And, if I compare this picture with those taken before, the most evident and striking change is that the Pers Glacier flowing down from Piz Palü gets smaller and smaller every year due to global warming. And the rate and impacts of climate change have definitively increased over the last years. You may have noted that some parts of the glaciers are rather brownish than white. This is due to Saharan dust deposited on it. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
