The Llanbedr horseshoe: on Pen Allt-mawr looking north west
The Llanbedr horseshoe is a 26km (16 mile) circuit of the main peaks of the Black Mountains, starting at Llanbedr and taking in the highest peak in the group, Waun Fach. The prominent distant hill to the left is Pen y Fan.
