Romanesque church

In 1220, the Church of San Giovanni / St. Johann in Taufers was built as a Romanesque church in the shape of a greek cross. On the northern exterior wall a remarkable fresco of Saint Christopher can be seen. Taufers is the westernmost municipality in South Tyrol, located in the Münstertal, not far from the Swiss-Italian border. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
