With a sunny day, infrared brings out out a lot of detail that is hidden in visible light photos. Compare the two. Please note that both were taken at the same focal length, ISO, exposure time, and f stop. With different cameras though. The IR was with a converted Canon 20D (mid 2000's vintage and fewer megapixels.
