☆☆☆ In Explore 08-03-2024 ☆☆☆ Romanesque bas-relief from the cloister of the Santo Domingo de Silos Abbey (11th century). The scene represents the risen Christ surrounded by his disciples. Doubting Thomas was skeptical at first, when he heard that Jesus had risen from the dead and appeared to the other apostles. But when Jesus appeared later, he invited Thomas to touch his wounds, and based on this Thomas showed his belief again. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
