Göschenen

Göschenen is a village and municipality in the canton of Uri in the upper section of the Reuss Valley in Central Switzerland. Here are the northern entrances to the Gotthard Railway and Road Tunnels. Also Göschenen is the starting point to travel through the Schöllenen Gorge to Andermatt, one of the steepest and most challenging sections of the Gotthard Pass route.
