Saint Columbanus Basilica in Bobbio

The current Basilica of San Colombano was built during 1456–1530 in Renaissance style. The nave fresco decoration was completed in the 16th century by Bernardino Lanzani. The basilica is located in Bobbio, a small town in Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. Bobbio is in the Trebbia River valley southwest of the town Piacenza. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
