Skrúður af Krossanesi

Skrúður is a 160 m high rocky island at the mouth of the fjord Fáskrúðsfjörður in E-Iceland. It is home to some 150.000 pairs of puffins, and some 17 other nesting species of birds. It has never been inhabited, but was in former times utilized by nearby farms for birds and eggs.
