Russian Chapel, Mathildenhöhe, Darmstadt
The Russian Chapel on the Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt is a richly decorated building erected at the end of the 19th century, but independently of the artists' colony. Behind the chapel (to the left) one can see the so-called Hochzeitsturm (Wedding Tower). The tower was planned by Joseph Maria Olbrich and completed in 1908.
