Ward Hill from Cuilags, Island of Hoy
Ward Hill at 418m is the highest point on Hoy and by extension the whole of Orkney, since Hoy is the only mountainous island in the archipelago. The island's name of Hoy is derived from the Old Norse Haey or 'High Island'.
