Mattmark reservoir
Reservoir in the Saas Valley, Valais, Switzerland. It was constructed in the 1960s and is used for electricity generation. Maximum water level is usually reached in August. Surface elevation: 2,197 m. I took the photo just before the sky cleared up in the afternoon. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
