Boiling crater

One of the charms of the Meradalir eruption is that on the first day/night one could look into some of the craters from above from a mountainslope. It is like looking at an overboiling pot of porridge, except the gruel is orange and 1180°C hot. I took some high shutter-speed shots of the closest crater - the results were more abstract than representative, but somewhat fun.
