Green house on the Octagon House property IMG_6095

This green house is identical to the manufactured green house originally on the property. That green house burned down, so the current owner found an exact copy in Philadelphia and transplanted it to the property. Constructed during the octagon house craze in the mid 1800s, this house was named after its first two owners: Armour and Stiner. The house was originally constructed by Armour with 2 stories and a flat roof. Second owner Stiner added the dome and cupola to make it unique among all octagon houses. Current owner Joe Lombardi purchased the house in the late 1970s and systematically restored it.
