Strasbourg Cathedral

The construction of the cathedral started in 1015, was relaunched in 1190 and finished in 1439. At 142 metres (466 feet) Strasbourg Cathedral was the world's tallest building from 1647 to 1874. Maison Kammerzell at left. Kammerzell House is a well preserved medieval building. It was constructed in 1427 but twice transformed in 1467 and 1589.
