Old Man of Storr

Isle of Skye I’m just back from a trip to this amazing location, almost all of which was in foul weather. Classic Scotland. This shot required a kip in the car for a couple of restless hours before starting the hike up the mountain at 3am in pitch darkness. There was an epic hailstorm half way up the climb, and a savage northerly wind at the viewpoint. It was so cold I could barely operate the camera. Sadly we weren’t treated to an epic sunrise but the landscape itself is epic enough.
