Fan Hir, late afternoon in December
There is some strange optical effect going on on the right hand side of this picture, as though the moisture hanging in the air is catching the last rays of the sun. The long straight shadow cast by Fan Hir extends from Moel Feity into thin air and onto the underside of the cloud where it splits into its constituent rainbow colours.
