Wonsqueak Harbor Down near the tip of the Schoodic Peninsula Gouldsboro, Maine This is my first post off of my new Nikon Z 6II. I'm loving the new camera, have a lot to learn, and hope to post many many more from it. I tried floating the ISO here - I think I need to keep it under control - can't let that exposure triangle dangle. Also, very frustrated not having LrC/RAW available yet to process this image. ON1 Raw 2021 was able to handle it - good for them - but I sure didn't like working end-to-end in there. Wouldn't it be cool to live here? I live close by, but not in so dramatic a spot. This very same cottage is often photographed directly across Wonsqueak Harbor where it also makes a beautiful shot along with some sheds I like to photograph, but this perspective obviously leads to the FlickrFriday "Remote" theme this week. The cottage is built out onto the pier and the narrow harbor usually has two or three lobster boats at anchor and would normally be in view here - possibly pulled for the season as this is mid-ish November though very warm this week considering the season. I have geolocation information provided, as I do nearly all my images, in case you want to find it. Besides being accessible via the turn off 186 in Birches Harbor, it is also right at the exit from the one way loop road through Acadia National Park, Schoodic Section - still, it really is fairly remote. :-)
