Chapel of the US Air Force Academy
It was snowing that day, on 9th of May! Unbelievable. That's why I think a black and white picture of this beautiful chapel is appropriate. The chapel was completed in 1962 and is the distinguishing feature of the Cadet Area at the US Air Force Academy, located north of Colorado Springs. Originally controversial in its design, the Cadet Chapel has become a classic and highly regarded example of modernist architecture. Thank you for your visits / comments / faves!
