Here is a closer view of the facade. This is a very simple three story commercial structure. The dull red paint hides the original brick, so we don't know if the front was intended to be a different shade than the rest of the building. The cornice is very understated. I am not sure if this is original; the triangular pieces at the ends of the cornice make me suspect that it isn't. I think if they painted the storefront to Mach the rest of the building (green) the overall impression would be more consistent. 228 W Broad St Richmond, VA 23220
