We are on our way to the Nullarbor, to be the first to the end of N37, then continue on to Perth, and a new life of caving and travel, and within a few months a new girlfriend... and the rest is history.... Maybe Dick was still in his sleeping bag.. R55B-36 See a note about John Dunkley AM 2013 here www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/johns-journeys-are-all-... John is thinking we should document this expedition to Mullamullang for posterity, we looked up our old diaries and trip report notes. While on the phone a moment ago, for an hour, john found his diary and it fell open at the page describing how I collected him at his house then went on to pick up Dick at Earlwood on the morning of 15th May 1965. He thinks he contacted me when he heard I was heading off to PERTH and wondered whether we should check out the new N37 discovery! Not sure who had the idea first. I expect I was looking around for some passengers who might contribute to the fuel costs, and it soon turned into a SUSS private caving trip to explore the new extension of N37.
