Ystiklettur (Outermost Rock) is a steep rocky mount guarding the north end of the harbour in Vestmannaeyjar, off the south coast of Iceland. Here the view is from the taller Heimaklettur (Home Rock) and from this vantage point Ystiklettur looks like a gaping head of a Tyrannosaurus Rex - at least according to my 11 year old son. The rock is home to a myriad of seabirds, not least puffins, and a hunting shack can be seen on top of the rock. In the mouth of the TRex is a cave, where boats can sail in. To the north is the Icelandic mainland, barely visible, and two small islands, Elliðaey and Bjarnarey, each with a puffin-hunting shack.
