Saurbæjarkirkja á Kjalarnesi
The small stone church at Saurbær in Kjalarnes in W-Iceland was built in 1904 after a timber church at the same place had blown apart in a storm two years earlier. It is the second oldest church made of concrete in Iceland. In Catholic times the church then standing was dedicated to St. John the Baptist.
