The traverse of the Rum Cuillin: the col between Askival and Trallval
The col provides an escape route to Dibidil for those who have had enough of the traverse or where the weather has turned. The following part of the route over Trallval is the most difficult, requiring good navigation skills in poor visibility. Those who are just aiming to bag the two Corbetts often traverse Trallval.
