The traverse of the Rum Cuillin: descending Askival on the way to Trallval
There is a clear zig-zag path down the scree from the summit of Askival which peters out suddenly. Following the line of descent will take you off the ridge and into the corrie. At around this point traverse about 100m right across the boulder field to regain the ridge.
