The traverse of the Rum Cuillin: on the summit of Askival
A 180 degree panorama from the vantage point of Askival's rocky summit. To the right is Hallival and the route previously followed: there now follows a steep descent to a low col and re-ascent to Trallval, a Graham, which is centre picture. The descent from Trallval, the hardest part of the route, leads to a steep ascent of Ainshval, the other Corbett. The route then follows the left skyline with another (need I say it) steep descent to Dibidil bothy on the south coast of the island.
