Ground 2009: Scree
A scree of multicoloured hyaloclastic rock (i.e. made of cemented volcanic ash, in a sub-glacial eruption) in Trölladyngja in SW-Iceland. The plant is Alpine lady's mantle (Ljónslappi, Alchemilla alpina).
