Selárdalsfjara
Looking inside the fjord Arnarfjörður from Selárdalur valley. There are several ex-farms at the seaside of the valley - abandoned around the middle of the 20th Century - which got a big part of their sustenance from fisheries. Arnarfjörður is the one place in Iceland with the most sightings of sea-monsters, which are usually seen on the beach. A museum has now been set up at the village of Bíldudalur dedicated to these mythological (or just yet undiscovered?) creatures.
