Marteinstunga í Landsveit. This parish church in S-Iceland is built in 1896, and can seat 80 people. The church is by now Lutheran, as almost all churches in Iceland, but a church has stood at this place since Catholic times, around 1200, dedicated to the Hungarian/French Saint Martin. The name of the church and farm derives from the saint. The white body and red roof are very typical colours of country churches in Iceland.
