Early morning glow over Tengger Caldera, Java
☆☆☆ EXPLORED 09-03-2017 ☆☆☆ Tengger Caldera in East Java (Indonesia), seen at sunrise from Mount Penanjakan viewpoint (2,770 m). Outside temperature was only around 5 degrees C.! In the foreground is Mount Batok (2,440 m). The rather small steaming crater to the left is Mount Bromo (2,329 m). And the impressive volcano in the background is Mount Semeru (3,676 m). Morning mist covers Segara Wedi, the so-called "Sea of Sands". Many thanks for your visits / comments / faves!
