Beautiful evening view from Mauna Kea summit to Mauna Loa. These are the two big volcanos on Big Island (Hawaii). The peak of Mauna Kea (4,207 m, 13,802 ft above sea level) is the highest point in the state of Hawaii. Much of the mountain is under water; when measured from its oceanic base, Mauna Kea is over 10,000 m (33,000 ft) tall. Mauna Loa in the background has almost the same altitude. Its peak reaches 4,169 m (13,679 ft) above sea level. Many thanks for your visits / comments / faves!
