Harts Range camp, NT, Plenty Highway.

Had the place to our selves before the Rodeo moved in on the next weekend. The climb up to here passed outcrops of quartz and mica, and lots of shiny bits, that made me think of all the prospectors and Geologists who must have scrambled around the rugged outcrop. Old star stakes and pegs poked out of the rocks, staking claim boundaries or old fence lines. This is near the race/rodeo grounds, a few km south of the Harts settlement and Police Station.
