ELIZA JANE LEIGHTON Died 7th of June 1829. Her Father, JOHN POSTON LEIGHTON Died 17th July 1834, Aged 33 Years. Now mouldring in the dust I lie, My short career is o'er, Once flourishing and strong was I, But now I'm known no more. But I shall rise against fear, Tho' hidden in the grave, My Saviour will rise me from the dead, His arm is strong to save. Oh reader, if to joy, you rise, In Jesus place your faith, Let virtue ever be your guide.
