Shirasagijo I

I'm back. Guess where I've been. ;-) This is Himeji castle, in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Also known as White Heron Castle, due to its elegant, white appearance. Originally completed in 1609, and recently restored to its full glory. Shown in cherry blossom season, April 2016.
