So, until repairs can be done, you will be unable to walk right around the Blue Lake. However, the River Walk has completely reopened. You cannot enter the Devil's Coach House Cave at the southern end near the Grand Arch. This means that you can access the Nettle Cave, but not in the usual way. You can walk up to Carlotta Arch and be amazed at the dizzying view of the Blue Lake far below. From there, you can walk down another set of stairs into the McKeown's Valley. This will take you down to the northern end of the Devil's Coach House Cave. Then, you can explore the Devil's Coach House Cave and the Nettle Cave. Or you can walk north along the McKeown's Valley Track - maybe spot wallabies, lyrebirds and kangaroos. Then, you have to return the way you came, via Carlotta Arch. So this means that you can still explore the Nettle Cave or the McKeown's Valley Track, but it will take longer, and it is more strenuous, with many additional stairs. Remember to take water.
