Kata Tjuta / The Olgas

Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga (or The Olgas), are a group of rock formations located about 370 km southwest of Alice Springs, Australia. Kata Tjuta means ‘many heads’. Kata Tjuta and Uluru, 30 km to the east, form the two major landmarks within the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuta cover an area of 22 square km. The highest point, Mount Olga, is 1,066 m above sea level, or approximately 546 m above the surrounding plain. Many thanks for your visits / comments / faves!
