Burning off on Narrabundah Hill in Stromlo Forest

Sharpened all the rest of my 1000s of slides and negs, maps, files, Hasselblad, video camera and the video went up in the 2003 fires. Dramatic footage by a news cameraman in a Light Unit driving around Duffy in the Blazing Inferno from the Narrabundah Pines SW of the Stromlo Depot, collecting firemen from stalled and burning pumpers, checking on dazed people outside burning homes, racing up blackened streets in total darkness to deserted home, some still ablaze with fallen trees across the roads.
