After the Ramz Hall fire in '04, this and all surrounding building were inspected for structural damage. This luckily escaped the blaze, but inspectors found that the wall was in danger of collapsing. They fixed it. They also restored the storefront on the left from a solid wall with a window fit for a suburban house and a steel door. They went as far as to replicate the molding and corbels over the storefront which were missing on that half. 824 W.
