Look at all the boxes...
It seemed that everybody that boarded our flight checked in at least one or two of these boxes. Apparently it is tradition for those living abroad to bring back these boxes full of clothing and "appliances", for their family and loved ones. We watched a Phillipino movie on board the plane that made reference to how this tradition may have become a bit of a burden for those comeing home to visit. They even make cloth bags to fit the boxes perfectly that zip up and have handles. For those making trips frequently to home, it means doing away with tape and rope.
