Main Street Station 相簿

Richmond, Virginia's historic Main Street Amtrack Station. This was once the main train station in richmond. It was put out of use when passenger service was transfered to Broad Street Station. The station and platform were used as a market for a while a few decades ago. The building caught fire in 1983 and the roof was destroyed. Today, the station is restored and has limited passenger service. The station is liteally feet from interstate 95. If you have driven north through richmond, you have driven right past the clocktower.
