Katla
A view over the glacier Mýrdalsjökull in S-Iceland. Under the southeast part of the glacier (right on the photo) lurks the volcano Katla, with a big ice-filled caldera. It last erupted full-scale in 1918, with a huge glacial flood, that briefly became the biggest river on Earth.
